The Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) has launched a new model for real estate registration education.
As of this month, four education institutions—Algonquin College, Career College Group, Fleming College, and Humber Polytechnic—are offering real estate education programs.
The approach aims to introduce more choice and flexibility for learners, said RECO, while maintaining consistently high standards across all providers through RECO’s compliance-based curriculum and a new centralized exam provider, Meazure Learning.
“We’re pleased to welcome our new education providers as part of this important step forward for learners in Ontario,” said Joseph Richer, RECO’s registrar.
“Expanding access to real estate education in Ontario helps ensure that aspiring salespersons and brokers have choice as they prepare to meet the demands of a regulated profession and deliver high standards of service to the public.”
