SRA makes offer presentation dates visible on Realtor.ca

The Saskatchewan Realtors Association (SRA) has introduced a new measure it says is aimed at improving transparency in the homebuying process by making offer presentation dates publicly visible on Realtor.ca.

Previously available only to Realtors through private remarks on MLS, this information will now be accessible to the public. The update highlights when a seller has requested to delay the presentation of offers until a specific date and time.

“Real estate markets across Saskatchewan are extremely tight right now, and, understandably, buyers may feel overwhelmed,” said Chris Guerette, CEO of the SRA. “By making this information visible to the public, we’re helping buyers better understand the process while reinforcing the vital role Realtors play in guiding buyers and sellers through today’s fast-paced market.”

This follows a similar step taken earlier this year when the SRA began displaying “conditionally sold” status on listings to help consumers make more informed decisions.

“Transparency builds trust—and trust is essential when navigating a market as competitive as this one,” Guerette added. “This isn’t about adding red tape through a new rule or tool—it’s about shining more light on the tools that are available to the public.”
